FAQS

How is VitaGlide® different from an arm ergometer?

Traditional arm ergometers use a circular motion that primarily targets the shoulders and arms. The VitaGlide® features a horizontal push–pull movement that engages the chest, back, core, and shoulders for a more balanced workout while reducing repetitive shoulder strain.

While arm ergometers have been a standard option for upper-body cardio, they tend to focus movement in a single, repetitive pattern that emphasizes the shoulders and arms. This can make workouts feel more isolated and, for some users, harder to sustain over longer periods—especially when trying to build overall conditioning rather than just endurance.

VitaGlide® takes a different approach by introducing a push–pull motion that more closely mirrors real-world movement, allowing users to engage multiple muscle groups in a coordinated way. This creates a more dynamic and functional workout experience, making it appealing not only for rehabilitation but also for fitness environments where variety, engagement, and full upper-body involvement are important.
